Wild Terry Rozier stat revealed on ‘Inside the NBA’ amid FBI sports betting scandal

The NBA world has been left stunned by the FBI revelations that involved several current and former NBA players Thursday, and while it was a major news story there were still games taking place later in the day that ended up giving the league some breathing room.

Both NBA games Thursday night were absolutely electric and went to overtime, but the same game in particular between the Denver Nuggets and Golden State Warriors had fans on the edge of their seats as Aaron Gordon and Steph Curry battled it out in an epic back-and-forth showing.

Ernie:

“Aaron Gordon has made 10 3-pointers tonight, tying Terry Rozier in 2020 for the most in a season opener in NBA history. I kid you not.” 🤣🤣🤣

While Gordon and the Nuggets didn’t come away with the win, his 10 three-pointers tied a record for the most made in a season opener, but the ironic stat that was revealed by Ernie Johnson on ‘Inside the NBA’ was made much more interesting when he revealed that Terry Rozier also holds the mark.

Rozier was arrested on sports gambling charges by the FBI Thursday, and ESPN NBA insider Brian Windhorst even alleged that the league covered up the scandal by sidelining the veteran guard for a lengthy period of time during the 2023 season.
