Tottenham manager Thomas Frank on set-piece goals
Spurs travel to Everton this weekend, and the Dane held his pre-match press conference on Friday.
During the presser, Frank was asked about the rising number of set-piece goals scored in the Premier League and admitted he is a fan.
As per BBC Sport, he said: “This season I have seen a crazy peak in it. I like it.
“Whatever you can do to create an advantage, extra threat, you need to look into it. You can talk about styles but I’m looking at maximising the opportunity to score goals.”
When it comes to set pieces, there is nobody better than Arsenal right now.
The Gunners have already scored eight in eight this season and data from Opta, via ESPN, shows Arteta’s men are light-years ahead of everyone else in the division when it comes to exploiting free-kicks, corners, and long throws.

Mikel Arteta claims the stats are against Arsenal in Premier League title race
Arteta also spoke to the media on Friday ahead of Arsenal facing Crystal Palace.
The Gunners go into the game boasting the best defensive record in the top flight, shipping three in eight.
But despite his side’s impeccable record, Arteta gave a pessimistic view on a good defence being key to Premier League title success.
He said: “The teams with the best defensive records most of the time, except the past three seasons, normally win the league – so the stats go against us.
“The stronger we are in foundation, the better chance we have.”
