Branthwaite injury boost Keane’s game-time

Everton can welcome back Jack Grealish (£6.9m) against Tottenham Hotspur, after being unable to face his parent club Manchester City last weekend.

On the injury front, this week brought news that Jarrad Branthwaite (£5.3m) has “experienced a complication in his recovery from a hamstring injury” and “will undergo a surgical procedure… to address the issue”.

David Moyes spoke further about it on Friday.

“We felt that we had him back, we had him back in full training and expected him to be very close [to being available] for Manchester City – but he just didn’t feel quite right, so we got it checked and got some work done on it. We wouldn’t put a timescale on it – we’ll give him a chance to heal and take his time.” – David Moyes on Jarrad Branthwaite

This will boost Michael Keane‘s (£4.5m) Fantasy potential. That’s why the centre-back has been named as a good Gameweek 9 differential.

Nathan Patterson (foot/hernia) remains out, but there are no fresh concerns for the Toffees.
