For most of Rodgers’ NFL career it was expected that he would start and finish his successful days in the league with the franchise that drafted him; the Green Bay Packers. When he was recently asked about his post-NFL plans though, Rodgers made it known that there’s only one team he envisions retiring with before he hangs up his cleats and likely seals a first-ballot place in Canton’s Hall of Fame.
“My football career starts and will end one day with Green Bay,” Rodgers told the media.

The conversation comes on the heels of Rodgers and the Steelers facing off against the Packers this weekend in a meaningful game for both sides. Pittsburgh will even be donning special throwback uniforms to celebrate the year the franchise was founded in 1933.
