Following a couple of bad and unexpected results, which proceeded uneven form, certain Leicester City supporters have begun turning on the Foxes' latest manager, Marti Cifuentes. I must admit, I didn't see this development coming this season. Although the squad is competent and skilled enough to gain promotion from the Championship back to the Premier League in this campaign, they side isn't acting like one of England's tier two's frontrunners. Not at all.
In a few moments and one or two matches, the East Midlands team appear confident and capable. Though those instances are few and far between. While several problems exist, I don't think the state of play is as bad as some spectators and onlookers make out. For example, a win at Millwall on Saturday could propel the King Power outfit back up to third. That would also entail potentially leapfrogging the lofty Lions on the way.
If LCFC just had one efficient and effective striker, we would likely be in the automatic Playoff places. Therefore Cifuentes technically isn't doing too badly all things considered, like his half preseason or only late loans. Though the ex-Queens Park Rangers gaffer has seeming made a few decisions within the group. Here are three Leicester players who have found them in the Catalan's doghouse after only 11 games.

Ben Nelson
First of all, Nelson clearly hasn't impressed Cifuentes upon arrival. Most of the Blue Army expected this to be the centre back's breakout season. It wasn't.
Maybe an unknown injury is at fault for Nelson's absence. I'd imagine he's just out of favour.
Oliver Skipp
Skipp is second on my list. Blimey - what a waste of up to £25million (with add-ons). Cifuentes actually liked what he saw from the former Tottenham Hotspur man at first.
Skipp soon blew that opportunity and found himself warming Leicester's bench. And expensive and ineffective substitute.
Stephy Mavididi
I could have chosen three or four City stars here. For example, Luke Thomas will probably find himself in Cifuentes' figurative doghouse forthwith. Hamza Choudhury is somebody who's inexplicably chosen to play out of position.
Nevertheless, the winger hasn't had a good term at all. Mavididi seems almost rocked by his own generally underwhelming Premier League displays.
The 27-year-old has supplied absolutely no goals or assists in 2025/26. He was recently omitted from the XI shortly before fitness also became a concern.
