A record-breaking 20 West Ham United Women players have linked up with their national teams during the October international break, representing the Irons across four continents.
In Europe, Shekiera Martinez earns her first senior call-up for Germany, who face France in the UEFA Women’s Nations League semi-finals. Verena Hanshaw and Amber Tysiak are both in play-off action for Austria and Belgium respectively, while Tysiak could meet Jessie Stapleton and Jessica Ziu, both named in the Republic of Ireland squad — Ziu making her long-awaited return from injury.
Oona Siren and Eva Nyström look to guide Finland to promotion against Denmark, and Halle Houssein joins Türkiye for their tie with Kosovo. At youth level, Sarah Brasero and Anouk Denton represent England Under 23s in fixtures against Germany and Portugal.
Across South America, Manuela Paví features for Colombia in their opening CONMEBOL Nations League games versus Peru and Ecuador, while Camila Sáez lines up for Chile against Venezuela and Bolivia - while in Africa, Inès Belloumou continues her strong form with Algeria, who meet Cameroon in the WAFCON 2026 qualifiers.
A busy week of friendlies also awaits. Ffion Morgan links up with Wales to face Australia and Poland, while Katrina Gorry captains the Matildas, who later face England.
Kinga Szemik represents Poland, Leila Wandeler and Shelina Zadorsky could go head-to-head as Switzerland host Canada, and Riko Ueki joins Japan for matches against Italy and Norway. Anna Csiki is in action for Hungary against Luxembourg and Slovakia.
It’s set to be a packed international window for the Hammers, with West Ham talent featuring across Europe, South America, Africa, and Asia — a true reflection of the team’s growing global presence.
