Liverpool will be without Alisson Becker, Giovanni Leoni and Jeremie Frimpong for this weekend's trip to Brentford in the Premier League, while two more of Arne Slot's stars are major doubts.
Alisson is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury while Frimpong limped off in the first half of the Champions League win over Eintracht Frankfurt with a muscle issue. Leoni, meanwhile, could be out for the remainder of the season because of an ACL injury that he has had surgery on.
Alexander Isak only made it to half-time midweek and Ryan Gravenberch sat the trip out altogether. Slot said on Friday morning that both players would need to be assessed but could miss out.
The groin injury that Isak sustained is "not too bad", Slot explained, but he could not guarantee whether he could be involved at the Gtech Community Stadium.
If the Swede is absent then Hugo Ekitike, who scored against his former club on Wednesday, will lead the line. The Frenchman is likely to be in line to start the match regardless.
But there is a big call to be made on Mohamed Salah, who has been out of form lately. The Egyptian dropped to the bench in Europe and didn't impress when he was brought on in the second half.

For Brentford, who defeated West Ham United on Monday, Aaron Hickey is close to recovering from the injury he sustained while away with Scotland on international duty, but this game comes too soon.
Hickey, Josh Dasilva and Antoni Milambo are the only three players unavailable to Keith Andrews, the Bees' head coach who took over from Thomas Frank in the summer.
Paris Maghoma and Gustavo Nunes featured for Brentford's B team in midweek and are available for selection.
"The players are in a good place, it's been a good week," Andrews told reporters in his pre-match press conference. "Injuries are pretty much as we were, I suppose.

"Aaron Hickey won't make this weekend, but he'll be back in training over the next few days. The rest of the boys are pretty much available."
Four former Liverpool players could feature against the Reds in West London, with Slot's men having lost their last three matches in the Premier League.
Caoimhin Kelleher and Jordan Henderson played plenty of games against the side they will face this weekend, while also Sepp van den Berg and Fabio Carvalho departed Merseyside for Brentford in search of more minutes.
