The players returned to the City Football Academy after the bulk of the first-team squad joined up with their national teams during the international break.
And they were quickly back to work on the training pitches preparing for the visit of Everton to the Etihad Stadium.

And then it was onto the pitch as an Erling Haaland double secured a 2-0 victory over the Toffees.
The Everton game came during Black History Month and City commissioned a special poem from acclaimed poet Lemn Sissay to celebrate our history.
He met City’s first Black player Stan Horne at the site of our old Maine Road home while current players also recited the poem for a special video.
Then it was off to Spain for a second 2-0 win in a week as Haaland and Bernardo Silva were on target in our victory over Villarreal.
