On a recent episode of the Churros y Tácticas Podcast, Kiyan Sobhani and Diego Lorijn spent an entire segment debating who the best midfielder in the world is. Is it Jude Bellingham? Pedri? Vitinha?
Naturally, given the respective allegiances Kiyan and Diego have to Real Madrid and Barcelona, the discussion quickly turned into a Bellingham vs Pedri argument.
Bellingham, for some times, has been a hard player for many people to assess. Some people think he’s a striker, others a midfield “who can’t control.” Some say he’s just stats. But are any of these criticisms fair?
