Thomas Frank hails Grealish and Ndiaye, but says one Everton player looks reborn under Moyes

Tottenham Hotspur boss Thomas Frank thinks there’s another player aside from Jack Grealish and Iliman Ndiaye who’s played exceptionally this season.

A big three points lie ahead of both Everton and Spurs at the weekend, with both clubs eyeing European football for next term.

Despite David Moyes’ side only winning once since August, there is not a lot between these two sides in the Premier League table.

Victory on Sunday could take the Blues into the European spots.

As a result, Moyes has admitted the expectation from Everton fans is rising after the encouraging summer in the transfer window.

Ndiaye’s performance against Manchester City has been hailed by pundits across the country, despite the loss for the Toffees.

But there is another player who the Tottenham boss will be going into the game having warned his players about.

The name on the lips of people across the Premier League has been Grealish following his loan move to Merseyside.

Alan Shearer thinks Grealish will help Everton beat Spurs on Sunday when they face off at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Speaking to the press on Friday, Frank has actually named two other impressive Everton players; one of which he thinks looks transformed under Moyes.

“Everton is a very competitive team. There are more players than just Grealish, Beto has been good, Ndiaye too and Dewsbury-Hall after maybe not being on top at Chelsea,” said Frank.

“My colleague David Moyes’ teams are always competitive, I’ve always respected him.

“The coaching stuff and Moyes have got Jack flourishing again, he’s so dangerous and can create from nothing.”

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall thinks he plays best as a number eight but he will be expected to start as the number 10 on Sunday.

After making the move from Chelsea in the summer, Dewsbury-Hall is just another player who is shining under the watch of the 62-year-old Moyes.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall will face tackling machine Joao Palhinha

Spurs may have lacked some consistency over recent games, but Frank has provided them with a much more stable base than what was on display last season.

Former goalkeeper Ben Foster has loved watching Dewsbury-Hall this season in an Everton shirt.

But he is going to be tested against one of the best defensive midfielders about on Sunday.

João Palhinha is the first player to make 25 tackles in the Premier League this season. 💪

7 duels won

4 final third entries

3 aerial duels won

3 clearances

2 tackles

2 fouls won

Earlier this month, the Portugal international became the first Premier League player to make 25 tackles.

Aston Villa proved last week that Tottenham can be broken down by moments of brilliance, but the likes of Dewsbury-Hall will be up against it with Palhinha.
