ESPN insider Shams Charania went on air Thursday during ‘Inside the NBA’ and stated that to his knowledge there have been over 35 sports betting cases investigated by the league since commissioner Adam Silver took over his role in 2014, and based on the latest happenings it’s likely that more will be uncovered.
The league’s been under a lot of scrutiny for a variety of reasons since the multiple cases became public, but Rozier’s case in particular has been a major talking point after ESPN insider Brian Windhorst alleged that the NBA covered up his wrongdoings two years ago and tried to avoid any potential consequences.
