Three Pittsburgh Steelers players are questionable to play against the Green Bay Packers, including center Zach Frazier, who is battling a calf issue.
Frazier missed Thursday’s practice but returned on Friday in a limited capacity. He worked out in individual drills, and in some team drills, but not all of those. Still, the signs are pointing towards him suiting up.
Frazier suffered the injury on the second drive against the Bengals, leading to the issue. He has a sleeve on his calf that is currently helping support that calf injury, but he still expects to go against the Green Bay Packers.
“I think I’ll be good,” Frazier said. “I’m just resting it right now. I think I’ll be fine.”
Rookie quarterback Will Howard had three straight full practices to start the week, but is still questionable to play against the Packers. It will be up to the Steelers if they wish to activate Howard or not. They have one open roster spot.
That roster spot is likelier to go to linebacker Malik Harrison, who is back at full participation in practice after suffering an MCL sprain in Week 1 against the Green Bay Packers.
Harrison said on Friday that he is no longer feeling pain in his knee and could return this week if the Steelers ask him to do so, but that is not up to him.
