Iraola has 'no idea' how Dyche's Forest will approach trip to Cherries

The English manager arrived at the club this week and is the third man at the helm at Forest this season, after Nuno Espirito Santo and Ange Postecoglou were both sacked by the club.

Iraola said much of their tactical preparation this week had been focused on Dyche’s previous sides, with the [Cherries](http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/cherries/clubnews/?ref=au) facing his Everton team five times while the Basque boss has been in charge.

The Cherries won four of those – three in the league and one in the FA Cup – after Dyche defeated Iraola’s Bournemouth in the first game between his Toffees and Iraola’s Cherries.

Asked how they have prepared for the Forest game with Dyche only being appointed this week, and with a boss with a different tactical approach to Postecoglou, Iraola told the Daily Echo: “I think we've tried to focus on two things.

“Individual performance of the players, analyse the players individually.

“Most of them, we know them quite well from previous seasons. Some of them are new.

“But also we knew them because we've been also following other leagues and also what the games against Sean Dyche have been like.

“We played I think five times against Everton with Sean Dyche and analysing the things that he likes to do in every phase, set plays, open play, defensively, offensively.

“I think past game against Porto gives us reassurance in some cases or new approaches and we can use it as reference but I have no idea what they are going to do on Sunday.”

Iraola said he feels the game against Porto is likely to be the best reference they have for what to expect.

“But we don't know if they are going to change players, change system,” he said.

“It’s difficult to prepare. But we have the advantage that we know very well the players that Forest have and we know very well also normally how Sean Dyche teams perform and compete.

“And we kind of been preparing considering these two things.

“We have to focus on ourselves. I think they are a very good team. They showed it last night, they were, I think, very, very, very solid yesterday and I think looks from the outside looks like a good fit, Sean Dyche with this Forest team.

“It doesn't change too much from the style that was so successful past season for them. And they’ve started really well with the first game.

“But I hope we can make them a more difficult game on Sunday.”

The Cherries host Nottingham Forest on Sunday, October 26, kick off at 2pm.
