Manchester United injury news and return dates

Maguire suffered a knock during midweek and is a doubt to face Brighton in the Premier League this weekend. His issue is not believed to be serious and he could be involved in the matchday squad. It would make sense to replace him with Leny Yoro in the starting line up as a precaution.

Mount is also a doubt for the Brighton match after he suffered a slight knock. He could also be named in the matchday squad but it might make sense to name him on the bench as well. Benjamin Sesko could be handed the starting role with Matheus Cunha deployed in an attacking midfield role.

Martinez has yet to return to full team training and will not be rushed back into action by Ruben Amorim. United want to be extra careful with his reintegration and won’t take any unnecessary risks with his rehabilitation. He could be back next month, but might not be available until after the international break.
