Jaylen Brown unintentionally told on himself during Friday’s game.
The Boston Celtics star Brown had a rather unfortunate moment against the New York Knicks. During the third quarter at Madison Square Garden in New York, N.Y., Brown drove on Knicks defender OG Anunoby and leaned in with his head in an attempt to create some separation.
But when Brown’s head swiped across Anunoby’s white jersey, it left a very visible black mark. Thus, it became apparent that Brown was using some sort of spray-on product on his hairline, which embarrassingly came off there.
Here is the video.

That theory makes plenty of sense too. The incident came at the end of the third quarter, so Brown had probably sweated enough already to compromise the product by that point.
On top of Brown’s leaky hairline, it ended up being a lousy day overall for the Celtics. While Brown himself did manage to finish with a team-high 23 points on 9/18 shooting, Boston lost to New York by a final score of 105-95 to fall to 0-2 on the season.
The former Finals MVP Brown is Boston’s undisputed No. 1 option this season with Jayson Tatum injured and the likes of Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday having been traded away. But he is also prone to embarrassing himself on the court, which also occurred over the summer when Brown somehow got cooked by a high school principal.
