Tottenham Hotspur are back in Premier League action this weekend as Thomas Frank’s side look to return to winning ways

Thomas Frank’s side are positioned in 6th place in the league table after their first eight fixtures. The London outfit have 14 points on the board. They are back in action this weekend with an away trip to the Hill Dickinson Stadium to play Everton and here is a look at their predicted line-up...

Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper and defence

Spurs goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario will keep his place between the sticks against Everton. He impressed against Monaco last time out and helped his side pick up a clean sheet. Antonin Kinsky and Brandon Austin both provide back-up in the goalkeeping department.

Pedro Porro likes to get up and down the right flank of defence. He is set to retain his position in the team and is a regular starter. On the other side, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Djed Spence come back in after starting on the bench in their last game.

In the heart of defence, there are doubts over Cristian Romero’s availability still which means Kevin Danso could get the nod again. The ex-Southampton man has had to be patient for his opportunity since his move in the last January transfer window. Micky van de Ven is poised to play again from the off and he will be eager to keep Everton at bay.

Tottenham Hotspur midfield and attack

Spurs midfielder Bentancur found the net against Aston Villa last Sunday and is a key player in the middle of the park. He has been on the books at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium since 2022 following spells at Boca Juniors and Juventus. The Argentina international has since made 125 appearances in all competitions, seven of which have come this season.

Joao Palhinha has made a positive impression since his loan switch from Bayern Munich this past summer. He is a solid player to call upon and knows the league already from his time at Fulham. Frank will surely look to make his switch permanent down the line.

Xavi Simons has endured a tough first couple of months in England. However, he could take Lucas Bergvall’s place against Everton after coming off the bench against Monaco. He joined from RB Leipzig in August and is still waiting on his first goal.

Spurs have a decision to make on who to start on the wing with Wilson Odobert picking up an injury in midweek. Frank could go for Brennan Johnson to inject some pace into the team. Mohamed Kudus is set to play again on the other side as the pair look to cause the Toffees some issues.

Up top, Randal Kolo Muani will be pushing for a start ahead of Richarlison. He has been substituted on in the last two matches. The striker is on loan from Randal Kolo Muani and will be looking to make an impact.
