Sat 25 Oct 2025 - what we know so far

The Season opener will again be Rugby League Las Vegas. The two matches will be Bulldogs-Dragons and Knights-Cowboys on Sat 28 Feb (US) which is Sun 1 Mar AEDT. The event will also include a Super League clash involving Hull KR and Leeds.

The NRL Grand Final will be played at Accor Stadium in Sydney for the 27th time. It is scheduled for Sunday 4 October.

The NRL is using

What we know about club venue splits:St George Illawarra will play five games at Jubilee Stadium (Kogarah), five at WIN Stadium (Wollongong), along with two games at Allianz Stadium (Moore Park). The Allianz matches are set to be the ANZAC Day clash with the Sydney Roosters where they hold hosting rights; and a blockbuster clash with Canterbury at a time yet to be determined.

Wests Tigers venue split - 4 games at Commbank, 4 games at Campbelltown, 3 games at Leichhardt, and one at Magic Round

Penrith will play nine games at Commbank Stadium as the Penrith Stadium rebuild continues - this is up from 8 year as they were Vegas hosts in 2025. Their other three home games will be played at Mudgee (1) and Bathurst (1) in the NSW Central West, as well as hosting a Magic Round fixture.

South Sydney will once again play a home game at Perth's Optus Stadium in 2025, and will also head back to Mudgee in the pre-season where they'll host the Dragons in the Charity Shield. Their main bulk of home games are currently expected to be played at Accor Stadium, with a bid to move to Allianz Stadium seemingly quashed. This is still to be confirmed.

Dolphins are shaping to play 9 home games at Suncorp Stadium, two at Kayo Stadium and will commence a three-year deal hosting a home game at Darwin's TIO Stadium from 2026.

Warriors have 10 games at their Auckland home ground Go Media Stadium; and will also play one game in each of the country's major centres - Wellington's Sky Stadium will host their annual ANZAC Day fixture while the club will also host a game at the brand new One.NZ Stadium in Christchutch later in the season.

Gold Coast will host 11 games at Cbus Super Stadium with one at Suncorp (Magic Round).

Newcastle will only host 11 home games at McDonald Jones Stadium due to hosting the Las Vegas clash against the Cowboys.

Sydney Roosters will play 10 games at Allianz Stadium, and one at polytec Stadium (Gosford) in 2026. As with previous seasons, the Tricolours are expected to fill the twelfth home game slot with Magic Round.

Manly will continue to play all 12 home games at 4 Pines Park, Brookvale. Other clubs who will play all 12 home games at a single home venue are Brisbane (Suncorp Stadium), Canberra (GIO Stadium Canberra), North Queensland (QLD Country Bank Stadium),

What we don't know about club venue splits:Canterbury will once again use Accor Stadium as their home ground, but the quantity of matches is yet to be confirmed. Their membership FAQ page indicates they will not use Belmore Sports Ground due to construction work on the club's Centre of Excellence.

Cronulla are yet to release information on their home game allocation. Construction is ongoing on the adjacent Sharks Leagues Club but the club is expected to use the Woolooware venue for the majority of home games once more.

Melbourne are expected to play either 11 or 12 home games at AAMI Park, although during 2025 there were rumblings that club management was seeking to utilise the Melbourne Cricket Ground for a potential blockbuster on the same weekend the AFL travels to Adelaide for Gather Round.

Parramatta will play 11 home games at Commbank Stadium, however the venue for the club's 12th home game is as yet unknown, following the conclusion of their deal with the NT Government where they previously took matches to Darwin.

The 2026 NRLW season will follow the same format as 2025 with twelve teams playing over eleven rounds, and the Grand Final to be played on the same day as the men's competition on Sunday 4 October at Accor Stadium.

Other things we know

Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane will host Magic Round with the NRL previously extending its agreement with the QLD government through to 2027.

The Melbourne Cricket Ground will host the 'neutral' Origin match in 2026, with Eden Park, Auckland (2027) and Optus Stadium, Perth (2028) reportedly to follow in future years.
