Alperen Sengun led the way in Tuesday’s loss as he recorded 39 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists while Kevin Durant put up 23 points, nine rebounds and three assists in his Rockets debut.

Now Houston will look to bounce back and grab their first win of the season against the Pistons at home.

For Detroit, they also enter Friday’s contest looking for their first win of the season after they fell to the Chicago Bulls on the road on Wednesday night.

Cade Cunnigham led the way in the loss as he ended the game with 23 points, seven rebounds and 10 assists while Isaiah Stewart added 20 points and 10 rebounds of his own off the bench.

While both teams will enter Friday’s matchup looking to pick up their first victory of the season, they also may both be without some of their key players due to injuries.

The Pistons are also expected to be without Marcus Sasser in Friday’s contest as they have listed him as doubtful due to a right hip injury.

The good news for Detroit is that Caris LeVert is expected to play against Houston on Friday as they have listed him as probable with right knee soreness where he should have a major role off the bench once again as the Pistons try to pick up their first victory of the season.

For the Rockets, they have four players listed on their injury report entering Friday’s game, including both Dorian Finney-Smith and Fred VanVleet who have been ruled out.

Of course, VanVleet is set to miss the rest of the season due to a torn ACL while Finney-Smith remains out due recovery from left ankle surgery.

Houston has also listed both Jae’Sean Tate and Isaiah Crawford as questionable for Friday’s contest, though they did receive some positive news as Amen Thompson is not listed on their injury report.

For Thompson, he left Tuesday’s loss to the Thunder in the first overtime due to cramping in his right calf and he will be good to go for Friday’s game against the Pistons where he will likely be Houston’s starting point guard once again.
