Liverpool predicted starting line-up vs Brentford - three changes as Ryan Gravenberch decision…

How Liverpool could line-up against Brentford in the Premier League at the Gtec Community Stadium.

Liverpool look to get their Premier League title defence back on track when they travel to Brentford (20.00 BST).

Ahead of the Brentford clash, here’s the Liverpool team predicted.

GK - Giorgi Mamardashvili

With Alisson Becker still unavailable, Mamardashvili will continue between the posts. He’ll be hoping for a first clean sheet in the Premier League since his arrival.

RB - Conor Bradley

With Jeremie Frimpong sidelined what is likely to be the next couple of weeks, Bradley has a chance to seriously establish himself at first choice.

CB - Ibrahima Konate

The France international has had some mixed performances this season but he’s done well in the past two games and he will hope to build consistency.

CB - Virgil van Dijk

Liverpool can expect a bombardment of long balls and throws and Van Dijk will have to deal with plenty of those, as well as marshalling the back four.

LB - Milos Kerkez

The £40m signing from Bournemouth has had his critics since arriving. However, Slot insisted that Kerkez’s qualities have not been utilised fully and wants him to be picked out more on the overlap.

CM - Dominik Szoboszlai

Arguably been Liverpool’s best player so far this season and has become undroppable, especially after scoring against Frankfurt.

CM - Curtis Jones

Made an impact every time that he has played off the bench this season and delivered a fine performance at Frankfurt. Jones gives control and patience on the ball, which will be important while Gravenberch might not be fully fit.

RW - Mo Salah

The Egypt international found himself in the unfamiliar position on the bench at Frankfurt. Salah is out of form but with Alexander Isak doubtful, it is likely that Salah returns. Should have a point to prove.

AM - Florian Wirtz

Recorded two assists against Frankfurt and looks to be finding his groove after his £100m arrival. Liverpool will need someone to unpick the lock and Wirtz is capable of that.

LW - Cody Gakpo

Scored and notched an assist at Frankfurt but Slot has demanded that Gakpo starts to use Kerkez on the overlap more. It will be interesting if that happens.

ST - Hugo Ekitike

Fired his sixth goal of the season against his former club Frankfurt. In excellent form and would deserve to start regardless of Isak’s fitness.

Woodman, Gomez, Robertson, Gravenberch, Endo, Mac Allister, Nyoni, Chiesa, Ngumoha.
