**Anthony Elanga joined Newcastle United from Nottingham Forest in the summer for £55 million.**
The Sweden international seems to be enjoying his time on Tyneside on a personal level, but it's just not clicking for him on the pitch as yet.
We're sure it will happen for him, though, as Eddie Howe wouldn't pursue a player he wasn't 100% convinced could fit into his system.
In the meantime, we've got Jacob Murphy to lighten the load for Elanga, who recently did an interview with Pro Direct.
Anthony Elanga names Elliot Anderson as the most underrated player he's played with
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
During the interview, Elanga was asked who the most underrated player he's played with and the former Forest man mentioned another player with ties to both clubs, Elliot Anderson.
"He's just a joke."
Newcastle reluctantly sold Anderson to Nottingham Forest last year to prevent sanctions for breaching PSR and the Whitley Bay-born midfielder has gone from strength to strength since leaving.
Bring him home
--------------
Newcastle are even considering a move to bring Anderson back to the club, which has fans tingling with excitement.
Hearing the likes of Anthony Elanga, who has played alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, single out Anderson as someone who impresses him says a lot.
Let's hope the rumours of a Newcastle return are true. Bring the lad home.
