Premier League leaders Arsenal will hope to maintain their lead at the top of the table when they face London rivals Crystal Palace on Sunday.
Mikel Arteta’s side currently sit three points clear at the top, but the Eagles will undoubtedly provide a stern test for the Gunners at The Emirates.
The North London outfit have finished second in each of the past three league campaigns, and Arteta will therefore be desperate to see his side go one better and lift the title this time around.
In the meantime, it has emerged that Arsenal have scouted a Bundesliga teenager who impressed in the Champions League in midweek.
According to CaughtOffside, both Arsenal and fierce London rivals Chelsea had scouts in attendance to watch Bayern Munich’s Lennart Karl during their 4-0 win over Belgian side Club Brugge on Wednesday night.

The 17-year-old made an instant impact on his first start in the competition, dribbling past numerous defenders before firing a stunning strike into the net to give the Bundesliga champions the advantage.
Karl is a product of Bayern’s fruitful youth academy and has now played ten times for the club at senior level.
It is claimed that Manchester City also had scouts in attendance to watch the teenage winger on Wednesday, although he could be difficult to prise away from Bavaria.
Earlier this summer, the youngster signed his first professional contract with Bayern, which is set to run until the end of the 2027/28 season.
Bayern are understandably reluctant to lose the talented youngster, and the report claims that the Bundesliga champions have therefore put a price tag of around £60-70 million on the player.
So far this season, Karl has played five times in the German top flight for Vincent Kompany’s side.
