Max Kilman’s disastrous performances for West Ham continue

By Louis Nixon

**As if you thought it couldn’t get any worse, in the wise words of Mick McCarthy, ‘it can’. And it certainly has for West Ham defender Maximilian** **Kilman.**

The former Wolves defender once again last night proved what all fans suspected, that he simply isn’t good enough for this squad, and he certainly isn’t up to the standard that a £40,000,000 price tag would tend to suggest.

Last night didn’t just represent another underwhelming loss; it also reinforced how seriously shocking he is, seeing as across both the Brentford and Leeds games, the Englishman managed ZERO tackles combined.

How someone can play two Premier League matches and make zero tackles is something that needs to be spoken about.

Last week on MNF, Gary O’Neil spoke about how Kilman tends to ‘lose focus often’ throughout 90 minutes, it seems Maximilian Kilman can’t focus across a season! Since his anticipated arrival, West Ham have conceded 82 goals, of which he’s participated in all of those fixtures.

Upon the hiring of Nuno Espirito Santo, majority of fans believed that he’d provide Max Kilman with a new sence of life considering he used him at Wolves, but primarily across the last two fixtures, he’s been beyond shocking and for the next fixture against Newcastle, you can only assume that he’d be one of the many players that needs to be dropped to potentially enhance the ever so sliming chance we have of staying up.

Igor or Magassa have to start ahead of Kilman for the foreseeable future; otherwise, the results are destined to continue on and a rock bottom finish will be imminent for the Hammers.
