Just days into Sean Dyche’s tenure at Nottingham Forest, Tim Sherwood has spotted one big difference compared to his time at Everton.
The 54-year-old former Everton manager has finally made his return to the game after being sacked by The Friedkin Group in January.
Dyche has already won more games at Forest than his predecessor Ange Postecoglou did during his 39 days at the City Ground.
Following his time on Merseyside, Dyche thinks his work at Everton will not be appreciated for the circumstances he worked under.
Forest make the trip to the Hill Dickinson Stadium in just over one month’s time.
He may only be a matter of days into his spell, but Sherwood has spotted something at Forest that Dyche did not have at Everton.

Tim Sherwood says Nottingham Forest’s squad is stronger than Everton’s
Moyes was delighted with Everton’s summer transfer business after signing the likes of Jack Grealish on loan.
However, there was plenty of work needed to raise the quality of Everton’s side in that summer window.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
Speaking on Premier League Productions’ Team Talks, Sherwood has said this Forest side is the strongest squad Dyche has ever had.
“This is the best squad he’s ever worked with,” Sherwood said.
“You see Burnley and Everton there. I think this group of players is probably the deepest in quality he’s ever worked with, so it will be interesting to see how he wants to play.”
Dyche’s man management at Everton was criticised, with the 54-year-old barely playing Jake O’Brien after signing him last summer.
The defender has become a staple of the team under Moyes, which goes to show that, despite his strong squad, Dyche may still endure difficulties in getting the best out of Forest over the long term.
Everton will relish Sean Dyche reunion in December
After departing Merseyside, Dyche admitted Everton had a strong squad, but a fresh voice was needed to get them going again.
Players like O’Brien will be out to prove a point to their former manager having been snubbed during his tenure at Goodison Park.
Everton do not have to wait long to face their former boss again, with two meetings scheduled for December.
After seeing what Forest achieved last term, Everton are targeting European qualification this season.
Picking up points against the likes of Forest will be huge towards securing a spot in the European places at the end of the season.
But getting one over on their former manager will perhaps be even sweeter.
