Lewis Miley starts for Newcastle United - Team news to face Fulham

**Newcastle United take on Fulham in the Premier League at St James' Park this afternoon in a good old 3 pm non-televised kick-off.**

Both sides come into this game in indifferent form in the league, but where the Magpies have struggled at home, they're buoyed by fantastic performances in the Champions League.

After thoroughly beating Benfica on Tuesday night, Eddie Howe's side should be full of confidence going into this game in front of their own fans.

Fulham caused an upset in this fixture last season, so Newcastle will be looking for revenge.

Sandro Tonali has had to make do with a place on the bench

----------------------------------------------------------

Eddie Howe has named a strong side with few surprises. Sandro Tonali's exclusion was preempted in Friday's press conference when Howe said he'd be 'touch and go', and it seems the Italian still hasn't fully recovered from the illness which saw him sit out the win over Benfica.

Lewis Miley keeps his place in the side over Tonali, but Joelinton returns to the starting lineup, replacing Jacob Ramsey.

Joelinton struggled massively against Brighton last weekend but looked back to his best when he came off the bench on Tuesday.

Fulham have a couple of danger men in their side

------------------------------------------------

Emile Smith-Rowe starts for Fulham after torturing Newcastle last season, and he, along with Alex Iwobi, will be a couple of players to keep an eye on today.

Part man, part tree, Adama Traore also starts, which will keep Dan Burn occupied.

Surely Newcastle have more than enough about them to take the win here. Right? Surely. Come on.

HOWAY THE LADS!
