Armend Muslika continued his fine goalscoring run before Ronny Moncur was on target to help our Under-18s to a 2-0 win over Leicester City on Saturday.
Having netted six goals in seven league games prior to today’s contest, Armend was on the scoresheet once again to give our youngsters the lead after just six minutes at Hotspur Way as he slammed home from inside the box to net his seventh for the Under-18s.
Although we were unable to further extend our advantage, we had to remain defensively disciplined to withstand the Foxes’ pressure - with Cameron Thomas producing a number of key blocks in the first period before a late save from Dylan Thompson.
And, as the visitors searched for an equaliser, we capitalised at the other end as a determined run from substitute Moncur saw him blast home from close range to earn our Under-18s a vital three points in the league.
