Roma manager Gian Piero Gasperini has played down concerned about Brighton and Hove Albion striker Evan Ferguson.

Ferguson was once on the hottest properties in the Premier League after shining brightly at Brighton early on.
Injuries and a lack of playing time have seen his star fade in recent years, though. He was sent out on loan to Roma this summer in the hope of getting his career back on track.
That hasn’t happened yet, though. Ferguson is yet to score for the Italian side in nine games in all competitions.
That’s led to a repot in Italy today stating that Roma could send him back in January as they look to refresh their forward line. That included information about Brighton, who are said to have been left ‘perplexed’ by their striker’s situation. They were seemingly expecting him to be given more of a chance than the one he’s been given.
Now Gasperini has been asked directly what’s going on. And it seems he wants to play down any growing concerns.
