Sky Sports’ Peter Smith shared his verdict on the goal, claiming the Argentine has now properly arrived in the capital.
He said: “Garnacho points to the turf. He’s properly arrived at Chelsea now with his first goal for the club.
“Roefs will feel he should have done better with the shot straight at him but it was a fierce hit from Garnacho.”
It was his first goal since departing Manchester United and means he has become just the sixth Argentine player to score for Chelsea.
