It’s been only two games, but Giannis Antetokounmpo has been downright historic for his Milwaukee Bucks so far.
Antetokounmpo has set a record that has made all Bucks fans very excited just days into the 2025-26 season.
“Giannis Antetokounmpo becomes the FIRST player in NBA history to open a season with 60+ PTS, 30+ REB, and 10+ AST through two games!” per NBA History.

In the opening game of the season, Antetokounmpo posted 37 points, 14 rebounds, and five assists against the Washington Wizards.
Then on Friday night, he produced 31 points, 20 rebounds, and seven assists while taking down the Toronto Raptors.
The Bucks are now 2-0 to start the season.
However, things could be getting rough for the team in the days ahead.
They will next battle the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday, followed by the New York Knicks and Golden State Warriors.
Those teams could provide big challenges for the Bucks, even with Antetokounmpo playing so well.
Fans want to see Milwaukee score a lot of wins this season because they know just how pivotal success is.
If the Bucks fall short, rumors about Antetokounmpo leaving for another team will only grow, and he could leave Milwaukee by the trade deadline or during the summer.
Nothing is promised, but the team is in great shape at the start of the season, which is very reassuring.
It’s been years since Antetokounmpo was league MVP and champion, but he has had his sights set on reclaiming those titles.
He wants to go all the way with his team this year, and these two games show how seriously he is treating this season.
