It’s turned out to be a brilliant week for Chelsea youngster Reggie Walsh.
Reggie Walsh, 17, is a super talent for the Blues who’s had a week he won’t forget in a hurry.
On Wednesday night, Walsh broke a Chelsea record, becoming their youngest Champions League appearance maker when he came off the bench during the 5-1 win at home to Ajax.
Then, on Friday, it was confirmed that Walsh has signed his first professional contract with Chelsea just days after he celebrated his 17th birthday at the start of the week.
The teenage midfielder has capped it all off on Saturday afternoon with the Under-21 team.

Reggie Walsh stars as Chelsea Under-21s win again
The Chelsea U21s side beat Arsenal U21s at Kingsmeadow in a Premier League 2 fixture this weekend. Incidentally, that is now three consecutive league victories for Calum McFarlane’s side.
Jesse Derry opened the scoring for the Blues to continue his impressive form. Afterwards, Walsh doubled the advantage, netting his first goal of the 2025-26 season.
Even though Marcell Washington reduced the deficit for the visitors, Chelsea held on for a win and three points.
Walsh made a first-team appearance, scored the winning goal for the U21s, and signed a contract in the space of a crazy week. He should enjoy every moment of it because it’s very rare to have so much good news condensed together.
Walsh, who’s impressed Chelsea captain Reece James, appears to be doing all the right things in his development.
It’s now four senior appearances and counting for the versatile midfielder, so he just needs to keep his feet firmly on the ground and make the most of any chances that come his way.
