The Tennessee Titans are on pace to have a top three pick in the NFL Draft for the second consecutive year. They fired Brian Callahan after dreadful start in which their only win came off the Arizona Cardinals shooting themselves in the foot at a historic pace.
Mike McCoy is the interim head coach in Tennessee. And while plenty of names have been thrown out as the potential full-time hire, a new name could be entering the fray in the form of Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian.
"I’m told that representatives for Texas coach Steve Sarkisian have let NFL decision makers know that he would be interested in potential head coaching openings, including the Titans’," Dianna Russini reports.

Sarkisian led Texas to the semi-finals of the College Football Playoff in the 2024-25 season. However, 2025 has been a very disappointing year from the Longhorns. They lost their opening day game to the Ohio State Buckeyes 14-7, and also lost to Florida 29-21. Even at 5-2 and being ranked No. 22, Texas had National Championship goals that look very unlikely at this point.
