LAKE FOREST, Ill., — Fresh off a home win over the New Orleans Saints, the Chicago Bears are now on the road as they face off against AFC North opponents in back-to-back weeks. That two-game road stretch starts with a trip to Baltimore to face off against the Ravens, a team that could be without quarterback Lamar Jackson.
The quarterback's status is still in doubt as he was limited at practice this past week and listed as questionable. With a Thursday Night Football game looming, the Ravens could opt NOT to push Jackson and instead go with Tyler "Snoop" Huntley.
Either way, Chicago is preparing for Jackson and the chance to go 5-2, keeping their win streak alive.
On Chicago's side, the Bears are a little banged up defensively going into this game. They will be without defensive backs Tyrique Stevenson and Kyler Gordon, and they are already without Jaylon Johnson. Chicago will also be without Cole Kmet and backup left tackle Braxton Jones.
For the Bears, they are going to need this offense to get going and show some more consistency behind quarterback Caleb Williams. This is another chance for him to take a step in the right direction.
As we always do, we have our staff predictions for the Week 8 battle between the Bears and Ravens. Make sure to check back with the Bear Report for complete coverage of this game and the rest of the season.
