Sky Sports pundit says Chelsea star was 'bullied' as Regis Le Bris' Sunderland secure three points

Sunderland earned a huge three points against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in a 3pm Premier League kick-off.

The North East outfit went into the game looking to extend their unbeaten record against London teams.

Alejandro Garnacho threatened to end that streak when he scored his first goal since leaving Manchester United after just four minutes.

The Argentine had a couple more chances to extend the home side’s lead, but it was Sunderland who struck next.

Wilson Isidor made it 1-1 in the 22nd minute before Regis Le Bris’ men nabbed a 93rd-minute winner thanks to Chemsdine Talbi.

Marc Guiu bullied during Sunderland clash

Prior to the fixture, much of the pre-match talk centred on Chelsea youngster Marc Guiu.

The Spaniard signed for Sunderland over the summer but was recalled to West London following an injury to Liam Delap.

After scoring in the Champions League earlier this week, Enzo Maresca handed Guiu a start against his former club.

But he was ineffective for much of the meeting, as Sky Sports’ Peter Smith explained.

Smith said: “Ballard has bullied Guiu this afternoon.

“With 67 minutes played, the Chelsea striker has had just nine touches.”

Speaking live on Soccer Saturday, Paul Merson called for the forward to be taken off. He said: “It’s all Chelsea, but Sunderland are so comfortable at the back. I’d bring Guiu off.”

He was replaced with 14 minutes of normal time remaining. An afternoon to forget for Guiu.
