Everton loanee Martin Sherif was nowhere to be seen as Rotherham beat Barnsley 1-0 on Saturday.
Everton sent Sherif on loan to the League One outfit to get game time and continue his development away from Finch Farm.
The forward was unlikely to get minutes in the senior side, as Everton have the likes of Beto and Thierno Barry to lead their line in the Premier League.
However, he has not been playing for his loan club recently either.

Everton loanee misses derby win as details emerge
Sherif is one of Everton’s most exciting prospects, but he has missed the last two matches, including the local derby win against the Tykes on 25 October.
MORE TOFFEES STORIES
Rotherham boss Matt Hamshaw confirmed that Sherif has suffered an issue and the Blues are monitoring the situation regarding his return to action.
Speaking in his pre-match media duties on 24 October, he said: “Sherif’s been a difficult one really. He didn’t feel too well, and he’s a little bit tight in an area.
“We’ve been working closely with Everton, and they are monitoring the situation around his return.”
How did Everton’s other loanees fare?
While Sherif was not able to showcase his abilties, Armstrong starred as Preston produced a comeback win to shock Sheffield United in the Championship.
Meanwhile, Isaac Heath started for Accrington Stanley, but he was ultimately on the losing side as they succumbed to a 2-1 loss to Fleetwood Town.
Tyler Onyango is not in action until Monday evening, when his Stockport County side takes on Port Vale on 27 October.
Armstong has played eight times for Preston this season, starting the last five Championship games
Heath has started all eight of his matches for the League Two side, scoring one goal and assisting two
Onyango has played five times so far, he has started on all of those occasions
Moyes will be keeping a close eye on the progress on his loanees, with hopes that they will be ready to take the step into the first team in the near future.
The Toffees need to ensure that there is a pathway to the senior side for those youngsters, so that they do not leave like Isaac Price and Mohamed Ali-Cho have done in recent years.
If they do not, then a similar thing will happen with the latest crop of prospects on Merseyside.
