Manchester United suffer two fresh injury scares ahead of Brighton fixture as one star ruled out
Man Utd face Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League fixture on Saturday evening.
The Dutch defender was named on the United bench for the first time this season as they faced Brighton in the Premier League on Saturday evening. It marked his first match day squad appearance since he played in the 2-0 victory over FCSB back in January, a staggering 268 days ago.
Malacia was deemed surplus to requirements by Amorim after the winter signing of Patrick Dorgu and subsequently joined Dutch side PSV Eindhoven on loan for the second half of last season. The 26-year-old only made 12 appearances for his loan club before he returned to Old Trafford at the end of the campaign.

"He's working really well, he adapted really well to our team. So, like I said all the time, for me, there is no favourites - if you work, you will play for Manchester United, if you don't work, you need to work harder to get back on the team."
