Joshua Zirkzee may be handed a January transfer escape route, with Sevilla keen to take the Manchester United striker.
But the Spaniards aren't alone in wanting the striker, with West Ham boss Nuno Espirito Santo considering a loan move to bolster his attack.
Zirkzee scored just seven times in 49 games last season after moving from Bologna during the final months of Erik ten Hag's reign. But he has made just five appearances this term and wants out as he looks to keep his World Cup dreams alive. United boss Ruben Amorim has already decided he is not part of his long-term plans.
Summer signings Benjamin Sesko and Matheus Cunha have ensured Zirkzee has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford - despite Rasmus Hojlund's switch to Napoli - and Amorim also prefers Mason Mount, meaning, while not a like-for-like replacement, Zirkzee's chances of minutes are even more remote.
Zirkzee wants to leave In January and, despite his struggles, is unlikely to be short of offers.
Spanish side Sevilla are keeping tabs on Zirkzee's situation, and new boss Matías Almeyda is keen to offer him a lifeline. Almeyda is in the process of overhauling his squad, is desperate to add more firepower to his attacking options and believes Zirkzee is more suited to Spanish football.

But Nuno is also keeping an eye on his situation as he looks to boost West Ham's ailing attack. They were beaten 2-1 at Leeds on Friday night and Nuno again went without a recognised striker in his line-up, with Niclas Füllkrug out injured.
Nuno was forced to bring on ex-Newcastle and England striker Callum Wilson during the first half at Elland Road, but doesn’t appear to be a fan of the veteran summer arrival.
Zirkzee is desperate to be included in the Netherlands squad for next summer's World Cup, and knows he has to be playing regularly to stand a chance of getting picked.
