Manchester United finally beat Brighton at Old Trafford this weekend in a convincing 4-2 win which secured a third straight victory.
October has been a perfect month for Manchester United and Ruben Amorim, finding some consistency to win every game this month.
Having won two games in a row for the first time under Amorim last week, United reached new heights this weekend, claiming a third consecutive triumph and shooting up the league table.

United beat Brighton 4-2 at Old Trafford, although it should have been an even more convincing scoreline with multiple chances going amiss.
In the game, United had numerous top performers, but it was Bryan Mbeumo who shone brightest as he scored twice in the win, while Matheus Cunha was also among the goals.
After the game, Amorim was discussing his forwards.

Ruben Amorim praises Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha
From toothless to deadly, Manchester United’s attack has undergone a brilliant transformation from last season to this, and against Brighton was almost their coming out party.
Mbeumo scored his fifth of the season, Cunha got his first for the club and Benjamin Sesko stepped up with a superb assist.

But when asked about his attack after the game on Sky Sports, Amorim directed praise to their hard work instead of the goals.
“They have a lot of talent. I really liked the way the front three defended. Cunha did a really good job defending.
“It was completely different from the first games. Mbeumo is a working machine. Every time we kick the ball, Sesko was there.
“You can have all the talent in the world but if you don’t fight in this league you have no chance.”
Ruben Amorim has the Premier League’s best front three
When United completed the triple swoop of attacking signings in the summer, there was a lot of excitement within the fanbase.
After the game, Fabian Hurzeler admitted United spent money wisely on the trio when he was reacting to the 4-2 defeat he suffered.
"We're responsible for that defeat, we have to be honest with ourselves"

But now, after giving the trio time to settle into the club and learn eachother’s game, there is a real argument that United’s front three is the best in the league, not only in quality but in attitude and commitment.
Mbeumo is the best right winger in the league at the moment, while Cunha is one of the best players wherever he plays. Sesko is still not at his optimal level, but the idea was he could grow over a season or two with the quality around him.
United’s trio are only getting started and are a serious issue for any defence.
