Bryan Mbeumo was the star of the match as Manchester United beat Brighton to make it three consecutive Premier League wins.
The mood has finally lifted at Manchester United as Ruben Amorim’s side begin to show consistency after a difficult first 11 months for the Portuguese coach at Old Trafford.
United beat Brighton 4-2 on Saturday to climb up the Premier League table and give many the impression that they’ve turned a corner following last week’s 2-1 win over Liverpool at Anfield.

Bryan Mbeumo scored a brace, Matheus Cunha scored his first goal for the club, and Casemiro got on the scoresheet despite his strike taking a lucky deflection past Bart Verbruggen.
With the table beginning to read a lot better for United fans, a lot of pressure has been lifted off Amorim and his players, who started the season slowly. Now they’ve won three games on the bounce before travelling to Nottingham Forest next weekend.

Bryan Mbeumo says Brighton win will boost confidence
Mbeumo has wasted no time proving that he was worth every penny in the summer.
The Cameroon international’s second goal against Brighton was his fifth for the club since joining from Brentford in a £71 million deal.
Mbeumo caused constant problems for Brighton throughout the game and could’ve scored more goals.

The 27-year-old spoke to Sky Sports after the match and expressed his delight at the result, stressing that it will help give every United player a boost in confidence.
“It was a very important win,” Mbeumo said.
“It’s three wins in a row now and it is great for the confidence of the team and everyone.
“We’ve been waiting for it for a long time, it’s only good.
“We played a great game and we are a bit disappointed to concede two goals, but the most important thing is to win.”
The next step for Mbeumo and United will be making it four wins in a row when they take on Forest, who face Bournemouth tomorrow at 2pm. They are currently 18th in the table and looking for a new manager’s bounce under Sean Dyche.
Mbeumo accepts that it has been a difficult start for him at United, given the results suffered by the team, but he has still enjoyed it.
He added: “I’m enjoying it a lot at United.
“It hasn’t been easy at the start. It’s a new environment and a new expectation.
“With the enthusiasm and the link up with the team, I think everything is going well.”

Touching the ball 59 times, 80% of Mbeumo’s dribbles were successful and he made four passes into the final third.
