Our eye witness review of Albion's defeat at Old Trafford

[Albion](https://www.theargus.co.uk/sport/albion/?ref=au)’s winning run at Old Trafford ended – and there was plenty going on at Old Trafford.

Our audio review was recorded from a near empty press box a little while after a 4-2 home win.

We look at events on the pitch and the way Fabian Hurzeler responded.

And there is also some insight into our post-match conversation with Tommy Watson, who DID get on for his Premier League debut this time.

As referred to in our audio, it felt like it was very much a United story there in the Old Trafford press box as they looked to back up their win at Anfield.

But Albion made a decent enough start until a period in the first half which changed the mood.

We look at one Albion player whose performance mirrored that – and another who was harshly treated by the final scoreline.

Matheus Cunha opened his United account with a 20-yard strike that Casemiro claimed he had added to with a deflected effort, though it looked an own goal.

Bryan Mbeumo made it 3-0 after the break but Danny Welbeck’s free-kick and teenage substitute Charalampos Kostoulas’ stoppage-time header had the hosts wobbling.

Mbeumo struck with almost the final kick as Albion sent players forward to wrap things up for the home side.
