William Osula celebrated Newcastle United’s win over Fulham on social media after playing a starring role.
Indeed, Osula came off the bench for Newcastle United to change the game for Eddie Howe’s side during Saturday’s crucial Premier League win.
A laboured performance from the hosts saw them drifting towards a draw but Osula made a telling impact as Newcastle United recorded a 2-1 win over Fulham.
The 22-year-old, along with Anthony Elanga, pressed the Cottagers late on. Osula then used his energy and his speed to cut inside and shoot at goal, which was saved by Bernd Leno.
Bruno Guimaraes, however, was there to tap in the rebound to secure all three points in the dying embers of the game. Howe was impressed with Osula, who posted on Instagram on Saturday.

Late on Saturday night, the former Sheffield United forward captioned a collage of images from the day: “W’s in the chat cuh !!!”
That’s a saying Newcastle fans have got used to over Osula’s time at the club. He’s constantly repeated it on social media, while making himself something of a cult-hero amongst supporters.
Osula would have done his chances of starting against Tottenham in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday no harm at all. Nick Woltemade cannot start every game and the Danish U21 international looks desperate to make an impact.

Classy Eddie Howe refuses to take all the credit for William Osula’s development
Newcastle think Osula can improve and he’s certainly proving that this season. While he remains a raw talent, he’s scored three goals while registering one assist in 12 appearances across all competitions.
He recorded two goals and two assists in 19 games last season, so the improvement is obvious.
Still, and while Howe has a proven track-record in improving players, the Toon boss refused to take all the credit for Osula’s development.
In his post-match press conference, the Newcastle United manager talked up the role first-team coach Graeme Jones has played behind the scenes.
“I just think there’s been big growth in his game,” he said.
“He’s worked tirelessly with Graeme Jones, who has done a lot of individual work with him, as have all of our coaches, but Graeme in particular.”
