The confirmed team news for Aston Villa vs Manchester City at Villa Park.

Kick off is fast approaching and Unai Emery and Pep Guardiola have now named their lineups for Aston Villa’s clash with Manchester City.

Commencing battle in arguably the biggest Premier League fixture of the weekend, both Villa and City will be desperate to claim three points at Villa Park. Emery’s side will be determined to bounce back after the shock 2-1 loss away at Go Ahead Eagles, whereas City will be looking to take advantage of fellow title challengers Liverpool’s defeat at Brentford last night.

Emery has opted for five changes from the team that started the loss at Go Ahead Eagles, bringing in Pau Torres, Lucas Digne, Matty Cash, John McGinn and Morgan Rogers for Tyrone Mings, Ian Maatsen, Victor Lindelof, Lamare Bogarde and Jadon Sancho. Harvey Elliott hasn’t even made the bench.
