Everton are reportedly interested in reuniting with Brazilian international Richarlison in January.
Sold to Spurs for £60m in 2022, Richarilson could be surplus to requirements at the London club in January.
As per TEAMtalk, the Toffees would be interested in bringing the 28-year-old back to Merseyside.
Indeed, it states there is a ‘growing possibility’ Spurs would be willing to part with the forward in the New Year.
Everton will be in the market for a goal scorer with current options likely to miss a barn door with a cannon.
Thierno Barry is yet to get his Everton career going and Beto has one league goal in eight games this season.
The 27-year-old missed an open goal for Guinea-Bissau during the international break, and was wasteful against Man City.
With the score 0-0, Beto missed two good opportunities to open the scoring, before a second half Haaland brace.
RICHIE SET FOR EVERTON RETURN IN JANUARY?
Richarlison remains a fan favourite at the Toffees and would no doubt be welcomed back should he return.
His fitness could be a concern, with the Brazilian plagued in recent seasons. However, his goals, work rate and creativity would improve our starting XI tremendously.
The report states a Spurs revamp could see Richarlison ‘sold’ in the forthcoming window.
However, he is contracted until 2027, so it seems unlikely a permanent deal of this size would take place in January.
If there’s a deal to be done, a loan until the end of the season would be sensible business.
We know what he can do, and the mutual affection is clear to see.
He already has three league goals for Spurs this season. However, hopefully he won’t add to his tally this weekend.
If he does, please don’t applaud him, Blues.
