Aaron Rodgers spent the first 18 years of his career with the Packers, winning one Super Bowl

A much-anticipated reunion is on the cards when the Green Bay Packers visit the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football in Week 8.

Aaron Rodgers will face the Packers for the first time since the future Hall of Fame quarterback left the franchise he spent 18 seasons with. Rodgers still has plenty of love for his old team, but will be eager to stick it to his old head coach Matt LaFleur and mentee Jordan Love.

Over 45.5 (-115)

Neither defense playing on Sunday night has lived up to the bill this season.

Expected to be one of the NFL’s top defenses following the offseason acquisition of Micah Parsons, Green Bay has underwhelmed on that side of the ball. In three road games, the Packers have allowed 25.3 points per game.

The Steelers have already allowed 30 points or more three times this season against the Jets, Seahawks, and Bengals.

With both defenses looking shaky, I’m backing the over on Sunday night.

Micah Parsons #1 of the Green Bay Packers moves against Tyler Guyton #60 of the Dallas Cowboys during the first quarter in the game at AT&T Stadium on September 28, 2025 in Arlington, Texas

Jaylen Warren Under 55.5 Rushing Yards (-111)

If there’s one area Green Bay’s defense has excelled, it’s against running backs.

The Packers’ defense allows the second-fewest rushing yards per game (76.5) and the fourth-fewest yards per carry (3.5) among all NFL teams.

With Warren clearing this line just once in five games this season, I expect the Steelers’ starting running back to go under 55.5 yards on the ground.

DK Metcalf Anytime Touchdown (+150)

Metcalf’s 6-foot-4, 230-pound frame makes him one of the best red zone targets in the NFL, and Rodgers has already connected with his new wide out for four touchdowns this season.

Rodgers, one of the most prolific touchdown passers the NFL has ever seen, has thrown 14 TD passes in six games this season, more than Love, Baker Mayfield, Josh Allen, Jalen Hurts, and Drake Maye, to name a few. Not bad for a 41-year-old.

With Metcalf capable of scoring from anywhere on the field, I like this plus-money price for DK to find the end zone on Sunday night.
