The Miami Dolphins are taking the trip to face the Atlanta Falcons in Week 8 after a rough Week 7 matchup against the Cleveland Browns. Miami could only muster six points and will now look to bounce back against a tough Falcons defense.
While Jaylen Waddle was on the injury report, he's set to play for Miami, and De'Von Achane is also good to go. Darren Waller is on injured reserve, but the Dolphins will have two key players ready to go for Sunday.
However, early Sunday morning, the Dolphins added Tua Tagovailoa to the injury report. Fortunately, the Dolphins' franchise quarterback doesn't have a game status, as the Dolphins announced Tagovailoa is still set to start in Week 8 vs the Falcons.
Dolphins add Tua Tagovailoa to injury report, still expected to start vs Falcons
"QB Tua Tagovailoa has been added to the injury report with an illness but will have no game status designation," the Dolphins announced. "He is expected to start today's game vs. Atlanta."

The Dolphins won't be without their starting quarterback in Week 8, unlike the Falcons themselves, who will be starting Kirk Cousins in place of Michael Penix as the second-year lefty quarterback deals with an injury.
Tagovailoa is coming off the worst game of his season, throwing for 100 yards on 12 completions with three interceptions on 23 passing attempts. He threw a pick-six, and another interception was returned to the two-yard line.

So far this season, Tagovailoa has 1,313 passing yards, 11 passing touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. He's had to deal with a hobbled cast of receivers, with Tyreek Hill done for the year, Waller out for the majority of the season, and now Waddle is a bit banged up with a hamstring issue.
But, with Waddle and Achane in the lineup for Week 8, Tagovailoa will have two strong weapons to work with to bounce back from one of the worst starts of his NFL career.
Despite being added to the injury report with an illness, Tagovailoa is still set to start against the Falcons. He'll look to bounce back from a rough start and get the Dolphins to 2-6 with a week to go until the trade deadline.
