Eagles-Giants Week 8 game preview and predictions

Very interested to see what the Philadelphia Eagles look like today.

It’ll be pretty difficult to take the Birds seriously if they don’t put forth a strong effort against a New York Giants team that bullied them just 17 days ago.

If the Eagles were at full health, I’d say this is a spot where you need to see the Eagles really take it to the G-Men.

But given that A.J. Brown and Cam Jurgens are among several starters not suiting up, it’s hard to expect perfection. Especially from a team that’s been far from perfect this season.

The Eagles simply need to win, advance to 6-2, and rest up on their Week 9 bye before returning to action in Week 10. Howie Roseman has an opportunity to improve this roster with a trade or two before the November 4 trade deadline.

I’m expecting the Eagles to come out on top but I’m not so sure that they’ll make it look pretty.

Score prediction: 23 to 20, Eagles win.

Bold prediction: Darius Cooper scores his first career touchdown.
