Grizzlies' Cedric Coward is 1st rookie in Memphis franchise history to do this

Cedric Coward is continuing to look like one of the best rookies in the NBA.

The Memphis Grizzlies sure are glad he decided to stay in the NBA Draft rather than follow through on his transfer to Duke.

Memphis traded up to get Coward at the No. 11 pick, and he's hooping.

On Saturday night, Coward went for 27 points, six rebounds and four assists.

In the process, he made all six of his 3-point attempts.

He's the first Grizzlies rookie ever to have a game shooting 6-for-6 from 3-point range, according to the official NBA social media channels.

Coward began his college basketball career at the Division III level, transferred a few times and is now doing this.
