The Cleveland Browns elevated two players on Saturday, so the Browns needed to make seven players inactive for the game. The inactive list includes quarterback Shedeur Sanders, running back Raheim Sanders, offensive tackle Cornelius Lucas, guard Zak Zinter, defensive back Damontae Kazee, defensive tackle Adin Huntington and cornerback Jarrick Bernard-Converse.
The Browns are getting back some help on offense as two of the Browns' starters will return to the lineup against the Patriots in right tackle Jack Conklin and Pro Bowl tight end David Njoku. Conklin cleared concussion protocol early in the week and was not listed on the injury report after returning to practice. Conklin missed the Dolphins game after leaving the Steelers game with a concussion the previous week. Conklin will start at right tackle.
Conklin has played only one full game this season, against the Vikings in London, in Week 5. He left the opener after getting poked in the eye, then missed three games with an elbow injury.

Njoku injured his knee in the loss to the Steelers. He returned to practice on Wednesday and continued practicing on a limited basis for the rest of the week. He was listed as questionable on Friday, but is active and will start at tight end. Njoku missed the Dolphins game after getting injured against the Steelers.
Last Monday, Kevin Stefanski said he was "hopeful" Njoku could play against the Patriots, "but really going to be day-to-day."
Huntington (concussion) was inactive after not practicing on Wednesday and Thursday, but was listed as questionable after practicing on a limited basis on Friday.
Defensive tackle Michael Hall is active and will play his first game of the season. Hall practiced fully all week and is expected to make his season debut after offseason knee surgery. Hall had been inactive for the first seven games and practiced in full the entire week.
