Jets at Bengals weather update (10/26/2025): What to expect for Sunday’s game

The Jets should prepare for a cool Thursday with morning clouds eventually giving way to some afternoon sunshine just in time for their game against the Bengals at Paycor Stadium (1 p.m. ET).

Temperatures will range from 55-62 degrees.

The day will begin with overcast skies and temperatures in the mid-40s, according to AccuWeather. Morning winds will be light, coming from the east-northeast at 5 to 6 mph with occasional gusts reaching up to 12 mph.

As the day progresses, temperatures will climb gradually but remain on the cool side. By noon, the mercury is expected to reach 55 degrees while cloud cover persists.

The afternoon will bring some relief from the gloom as hazy sunshine breaks through the clouds. The temperature will peak at 62 degrees around 4 p.m., making for a mild but pleasant late afternoon, just as the game is concluding. Wind speeds will increase slightly to around 9 mph, with gusts potentially reaching 18 mph.

At 0-7, the Jets are searching for their first win, while the 3-4 Bengals are aiming to stay in the AFC playoff race.

Jets head coach Aaron Glenn kept his starting quarterback a mystery for most of the week. But on Saturday, the team’s already-muddled quarterback situation grew even murkier when backup Tyrod Taylor was ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Bengals with a knee injury.

That means Justin Fields is back as the starting quarterback, just days after owner Woody Johnson publicly ripped him for his poor play.

For any other team, it would be a complete nightmare, but for the Jets, it’s just another log on the bonfire of a disastrous season.
