Harry Gray has delivered his latest verdict on Leeds United loanee Joe Gelhardt after he scored again for Hull City.
Joe Gelhardt has found his goalscoring touch with Hull City again this season as he looks to recapture the form that made him one of the most exciting young players in the country.
The former Wigan Athletic man burst onto the scene for Leeds in the Premier League, scoring a famous last-minute winner against Norwich in his breakout season.
However, Gelhardt was deemed surplus to requirements by Daniel Farke and made the move back to Hull in the Championship, having spent time at the club last season.
Gelhardt has been in a rich vein of form this season and found the net again in the Tigers’ 1-1 draw with Charlton Athletic this weekend.
This prompted a two-word message of support from rising Leeds star Harry Gray, who praised Gelhardt’s current hot streak.

With 18 months of his contract left at Elland Road, it is not impossible that Joe Gelhardt could force his way back into contention at Leeds with a strong season at Hull.
Gelhardt is making a strong case for himself with his current goalscoring form. His three goals in the last three games mean the Leeds loanee has five goals in 13 appearances for Hull this season, with two assists.
