The revenge game got so much sweeter for the Philadelphia Eagles as they took down the New York Giants 38-20 in Week 8 action.
Philly was able to get the running game going with the team rushing for a season-high 277 yards. they dominated the Giants with 427 total yards of offense to the Giants' 246 yards.
There were plenty of winners in this game for the Eagles as they handled their business with
Winner: Saquon Barkley, RB
A collective sigh of relief flows through the city of Philadelphia as Barkley exploded in his best game of the season. He single-handedly had 107 rushing yards, 24 receiving yards, and two touchdowns in just the first half, with the highlight being his first carry going for a 65-yard touchdown run. Barkley finished with 150 rushing yards and two touchdowns in the win. Despite some concern about the groin injury, it doesn't seem too serious, so he should be okay after the bye.
Losers: Eagles' EDGE Rushers
Only three healthy edge rushers on the Eagles, and it showed. Philly was able to get to Jaxson Dart with five sacks and six quarterback hits. Out of Josh Uche, Jalyx Hunt, and Patrick Johnson, only Hunt had a quarterback hit and a sack, with Uche getting a quarterback hit. It wasn't a horrible day for the edge rushers, but more is going to be needed after the bye week, and Brandon Graham will be back to step up for them.
Winner: Zack Baun, LB
Baun did what he does best which is do a little bit of everything for the Eagles' defense. He finished the game with six tackles, two tackles for loss, two pass deflections, one quarterback hit, and one sack in the win. He continues to prove to the NFL that he hasn't lost a step from last season.
Winner: DeVonta Smith, WR
On a day where the Eagles didn't have A.J. Brown in the game, Smith stepped up in a big way as the leading receiver. Smith caught six passes for 84 yards in the win. He looked as though he could be on the number one receiver on this team, but Eagles fans won't go down that road with Brown still there.

Winner: Tank Bigsby, RB
It was not a good start for Bigsby as an Eagle as he struggled on special teams. Little did anyone know that he would end up being an effective runner for them, as Bigsby finished with nine carries for 104 yards on the ground. A great day for the Eagles in the running game led by Barkley, but finished by Bigsby.
