Denver Broncos star cornerback Patrick Surtain II left Sunday's Week 8 matchup with the Dallas Cowboys after sustaining a right lower leg injury.
The injury occurred on Dallas' first offensive possession of the game, as Surtain successfully defended a pass intended for Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens in the end zone. After breaking up the play, Surtain remained down and was soon tended to by the Denver training staff.
